How do I "unlock" my account
Go to http://ldsaccount.lds.org and sign in successfully. This "unlocks" your LDS Account. If you have forgotten your LDS Account username or password, click the "Can't Sign In?" button to recover it. To You will be asked to provide your Membership Record Number (found on the back of your temple recommend) and Birth Date.
How do I recover a forgotten LDS Account username or password?
Go to http://ldsaccount.lds.org and click the "Can't Sign In?" button. Under the "Sign-In Issues" section, click "How do I recover my username or password". You will be asked to provide your Membership Record Number (found on the back of your temple recommend) and Birth Date.
How do I change my password?
MyLDSMail uses your LDS Account username and password. To reset your password, sign in to your LDS Account at http://ldsaccount.lds.org then click "Change Password".
What happens to my MyLDSMail account after my mission?
After your official missionary release date (NOTE: this date could be after you are home), your account will remain active for 60 days. After 60 days you will no longer have access to your account. When you log in, on-screen instructions will help you transfer messages from your MyLDSMail account to a personal email account. Please transfer messages to your personal account as soon as possible.
What is the missionary policy for e-mail usage?
Missionaries may only use MyLDSMail to communicate with their families, friends, priesthood leaders, new converts, mission office, and mission president. Do not use or visit any other Internet service or site that has not been authorized by your mission president. Use e-mail only on preparation day.
Always stay next to your companion so that you can see each other's computer monitor. Do not use members' computers.
I'm on a slow connection. How can I speed up the system?
On a slow internet connection, click Basic HTML View at the bottom of the web page.
How can I keep my account secure?
Make sure you log out at the end of each e-mail session to protect the security of your account information. To end your session, click Sign out at the top of the page. Do not respond to messages asking for your personal information.
Where do I get help?
A vast amount of online help is available by clicking Help in the upper right corner of your inbox screen. Do not call the mission office with issues related to your connection to the internet.
